  Ed Paschke

Starting tonight, the Russell Bowman and Alan Koppel galleries will be jointly presenting the exhibition, Ed Paschke's Women.  The show will feature Paschke's work from the 1960's through 2004 when the artist passed away.

If you aren't familiar with the artist or his work, you can check out his website HERE.  Paschke's work has influenced several generations of artists, and if you have an opportunity to check out the show you won't be disappointed.

Giving Back

It's not exactly news that things are a bit tight these days  across our industry (and most industries, for that matter), but we here at Team Elledge try to always keep in mind that we truly are blessed.  We also want to acknowledge those who remind us of how blessed we really are.

Our friend, Chef Charlie Trotter, just hosted a meal at his restaurant this week that Paul and Leasha were lucky enough to attend.  The event was a celebration of Chef Kevin Snook and his new cookbook, A Boy After The Sea.  The book is more than just a collection of incredible recipes (with contributions from 26 Chefs representing 14 different countries), but it is also raising awareness for the Dan Snook Trust Foundation - an organization that is doing some incredible work with young adults.  You can find out more about the book and the cause it is supporting by clicking HERE.  We think that both the cause and the cookbook are amazing, so please check them out if you have the time.

Things To Do In Chicago This Week

Team Elledge definitely picked a good week to finally be back in Chicago!  This week there is a lot going on around town!

Tonight (03/10) Keith Carter will be giving a lecture at Columbia College.  Keith is as interesting in person as his work is in print, and if you have a chance to go hear him speak this evening, you will be glad you did.  Click HERE for more info about his talk (you'll need to scroll down part way to see the listing).

Speaking of Keith, Catherine Edelman Gallery will be hosting an opening for his work this Friday evening.  It will be a great opportunity to see his work in person, and there are always interesting people at an Edelman opening.

And speaking of openings, Daiter Gallery will be hosting an opening Friday evening for a collection of work by Martin Parr.  Martin's images are a fantastic blend of serious work with an British sense of jest.
