Hello October

"A" marks the spot for San Miguel De Allende

It seems like only yesterday that we started signing "2009" on everything, and here it is October already...  Time flies when you are having fun!

When fall hits the midwest, our hometown of Chicago really starts to sparkle.  In honor of this brilliant season (and all of the great things that it brings with it; changing leaves, crisp air, scarves & sweaters, the occasional thunderstorm, etc.), we wanted to share a few of our favorite fall activities.

- Visiting Garfield Park Conservatory is always a great way to spend a few hours, but come fall the Conservatory truly bursts with colors.

- When roaming through the Wicker Park neighborhood, we love to stop in to Cipollina and grab a warm panini and an espresso.  Not only does Cipollina have great food, but it is also in a great location (across from the Damen Blue Line stop) and provides fantastic people watching.

- The Lyric Opera begins its new season of performances in the fall.  Trust us when we say that the Lyric is an amazing experience (and a hell of a good date if you're looking for ideas).

- As much as we love Chicago in the fall, there is nothing like spending a week in Mexico as we close in on cooler months ahead.  Paul and Leasha will be teaching a workshop in San Miguel De Allende from October 25th - November 1st.  If you are an accomplished photographer looking to kick-start your creative thinking, we recommend that you check it out.  You can find the details about the workshop HERE.
